Finally received my Pelican Work Model 15 on 1st September 2026.

Unfortunately, they initially sent the chair with the wrong mechanism. I think it was probably the mechanism from the Model 11.

While assembling, I noticed the mechanism was not fitting properly under the seat, so I video called their engineer. After seeing it, he immediately confirmed that they had sent the wrong mechanism and told me they would send the correct one the next day.

And yes, I received the correct Model 15 mechanism on 2nd September. So their response and support were actually quite good.

Assembly Experience

This was probably the most frustrating part.

I think Pelican should seriously make a proper assembly video instead of only providing a PDF manual. During my first attempt, I accidentally slid the mechanism under the seat from the wrong side, and it got stuck.

I called the engineer again. He was very polite and helped me assemble the entire chair over a video call.

Still, an official assembly video would be very helpful, especially for small details. For example, the wrong mechanism came with some bolt washers, while the Model 15 mechanism didn't, which can easily confuse someone assembling it for the first time.

Initial Comfort & Ergonomics

Now coming to the actual chair.

I'm still adjusting everything according to my comfort, so this is strictly an initial 1-day review.

The seat cushion is very comfortable. I also really like the seat-depth adjustment, adjustable back height, and lumbar support adjustment.

These adjustments are especially useful because my wife also uses the chair while scrolling on her phone. She likes being able to adjust the back support and seat depth to get better back and under-thigh support.

Armrests

The armrests have plenty of adjustability. Personally, I mostly need the height adjustment, so some of the other adjustments aren't very useful for me right now.

However, the soft material on top of the armrests feels good and seems to be of good quality.

Tilt Mechanism

There is a tilt lock, which I haven't really tested properly yet.

The tilt-tension adjustment, however, works very well for me.

Black vs Tan

I bought the black version because I feel the tan colour might be more prone to getting dirty.

That said, I personally think the tan version looks more beautiful than the black one.

I originally ordered the chair without the headrest, but after using it I'm already thinking about buying the headrest separately.

So far, apart from the wrong mechanism and slightly confusing assembly process, I'm enjoying the chair. The adjustability and seat comfort are definitely the highlights for me.

Hi everyone,

I’m very new to 3D printing and recently bought a Bambu Lab A1.

With the printer I received around 20g of Bambu Lab PLA Basic, and I also purchased a spool of WOL3D PLA Pro Plus.

After printing a couple of models with both, I was quite surprised by the difference.

The Bambu Lab PLA Basic gave me:

• Very smooth surface finish
• Clean layer lines
• Almost no stringing
• Overall much better looking prints

With the WOL3D PLA Pro Plus, I’m getting noticeably more stringing, and the layer lines are much more visible. The print just doesn’t look as clean as the Bambu filament.

I recently placed an order for Numakers PLA+, but now I’m wondering if I should keep the order or cancel it.

For anyone who has used these filaments on a Bambu Lab A1:

How good is Numakers PLA+? Is it noticeably better than WOL3D PLA Pro Plus?

Or would you recommend cancelling it and buying either:

• Bambu Lab PLA Basic
• eSUN PLA+

I don’t mind paying a little more if it means more consistent prints and less tweaking, especially since I’m still a beginner.

Would really appreciate recommendations from people who have actually used Numakers on a Bambu A1.

My local Featherlite store quoted me ₹28,900 for the Helix High Back after a 10% discount.

At this price, is it still a good deal, or should I consider Steelcase Personality Plus or Pelican Work Model 15 instead? All three are within roughly the same budget.

Initially, I was planning to buy the SuperErgo The Specialist. I checked several Pepperfry stores but couldn’t find a demo unit anywhere. Later, I dropped the idea after reading concerns about the company’s reliability and after-sales support.

My usage is around 5–6 hours per day, mainly work from home, browsing and some light gaming. My height is around 5'8" and my weight is approximately 78 kg.

I currently use a Green Soul Eva and a cheap local ergonomic chair that became uncomfortable within a few months, so seat comfort, cushioning, durability and after-sales support are important to me.

Has anyone used these chairs for a long period? Which one would you recommend, and are there any major drawbacks I should know about?
