Sooooo for today's update I'm gonna need some help here I'm currently streaming it @twitch.tv/quickskill17

I have so far collected a few bits ... I bet my sword at the coliseum got a better one then nice new masamune ... That I never even equip because I traded it for a murakumo hahaha

I slapped on my ice shield and tried my chance at miracle shoes .

Turn one I was frozen immediately before I even got a chance . Then I got the whole southern cross that I blocked with the shield

After I unfroze I got one hit in . Then I got hit by heartless angel. I pretty much wrote it off here ...however cyan started to charge a Bushido and I knew all was not over . Out came a legendary tempest .. 3000 damage .a swing . It was not enough damage .

3000 from the attack 3000 from each hit of tempest just wasn't enough damage he's got 18000 hp I knew it was over ... But the last bit was a critical for almost 7000 damage . Netting me a win wooohoooo we got them first try

So with out running shoes that we have quite literally run into the ground thrown into the bin and replaced by some nice air jord.... I mean miracle shoes

We have a weapon . We have a relic . We have a ribbon .

We have a genji helmet . But what else can I grab. Paladin shield seems a bit excessive for this since I won't get much use out of it . I suppose I could do a run into kefkas tower kill a boss get the sword or spear and bet the spear to get the sword.

What else can I do ??? Maybe the dragons for force armor ????

So we had a rough start here .

Celes needed power leveling so I took the advice I got on here genji gloves and flame tongues . I did around 100 damage per swing and I had around 300 hp with her . This wasn't good at ll but with the power of black belt and me using a high potion every tunr we eventually managed to get our first level . And with the bonus 2 to strength we managed to eventually snowball the leveling to a massive 21 .

Then we collected Sabin headed over to" Gerad"

And began our look into Figaro

What a section

We started with the usual grab every item we can anything for an advantage

And then the tenticles . Oh boy .. what the hell

So we had our magitek knight who can't use magic swinging two swords at the bottom left tenticle ( thank you to the guy who told me they have a weakness to fire ) and I used Edgar's bio blaster (also thank you to the guy who told me they are susceptible to bio)

And we started the fight pretty good and then we died

Again . And again... And again you get the picture .

Well here we go

I can't grind Edgar and I didn't but the drill or anything for him

Eventually rng favoured me and we clutched a win . Praise RNGesus

Onto the Daryl's tomb . We grab the growth egg and regal gown and leave to go straight to dragon neck coliseum Wager a royal gown and get a Minerva bustier We also wagered something else I can't remember for an ice shield Finally we got a rename card which we will soongo back and get something else from ( I remember that it was something good I think )

Fighting the boss in daryls tomb was a nightmare . I had celes swing twin flametongues . And I had Sabin with ice shield using chakra/mantra

I had Edgar try and hit with a 3rd flametongue but he didn't really get much in Setzer died immediately so that happened

A battle of attrition. As celes did a whopping 350 damage per swing .... Yeahhhh He froze her maybe 4 times so Sabin just spammed his heal since he only ever got hit with ice he was full health . But she eventually whittles him down and we secure a win

Onwards with our new airship I got to follow a pigeon over to the town that then sent me to zozo .. this was the point of realisation. I'd be struggling with random encounters this entire time. And maybe 4 steps away from getting to the end I realised I had smoke bombs 🤦.... Moving on wr got the legendary mustache man himself back in the party and called it a day here .

The air force was a nightmare 😭

Just getting through the mobs was easy enough . But typhoon and ultros were definitely a problem for me . Especially when they would get me low then snort me away as the following fight was hell

I have never ever had a problem with that shark looking jet in my life usually thundara it into the afterlife . But jeez I had to go grind the speed at which atomic ray missiles and lasers were abusing my health is crazy

Even dragon barely kept me alive in the end and only due to the fact it targeted the smaller parts each time thank you RNGesus

But the floating continent.

I discovered a new hatred .

Dragons would be a problem right they snort me away so no exp ... Nope that was easy

Behemoths ? Not a problem

Apocrypha . Yeah level 5 death did me a bit dirty but eclipse saw to them easily enough

My lord above they did nothing but spam smirk I had like a 15 minute fight against 3 of them because all they did was smirk at me . I managed to go make breakfast. From here on I will make it my mission to exterminate them on every consecutive play through I ever do

. Ultima weapon was gonna be a problem so I hit the grind once again . And in the end I leveled a bit far but I'm sat at 45 currently. Maybe too much grinding here but once I'm in wor I'm going straight to kefkas tower so I needed the levels here to help me power through

Overcoming the world of ruin .... With a sub level 10 team

So I made it to thamasa and thanks to some good advice on here I slayed the giant fireball of doom

Turns out morph plus ice rod equals alotta damage .

Onwards to the esper cave and I was dreading ultros . And to top it off trance/morph wasn't ready ... Panic

But luckily I had 5 fire rods .

I had to do some grinding before we went in as I remembered his tentacles hit everyone pretty hard . Sure enough his first turn almost killed locke half hp for terra and strago I would have been dead straightaway had I gone in with the original 180 hp I had

So the fire rods do the damage needed to make relm appear and then I sketch him straight away... Except he absolutely slaps relm into oblivion In a single hit . Managed to get a phoenix down off and Res her and RNGesus blessed me because he used hailstone on locke next so I had time to get the sketch off securing victory .

Now back to thamasa where we play as a slight worse cyan . General Leo

Too your advice and decided to move onto the next part of the story. Surprisingly you was right it is not plain sailing . The sealed cave has its own . Challenges

Everything inside is undead this reversing the affect of dragon meaning we have to use items but sparingly

I did however farm the Ninja spawn because I could get a free heal from him with dragon surprisingly effective .

However a new challenge now presents itself . I have to do the esper cave without cyan .

A level 7 locke and level 12 (seems to have scaled up ) terra and shadow ( presumably 12 ISH aswell)

Against level 24 (I think so could be higher or lower)

Enemies . And with magic banned on this run it would appear I have to use shadows throw ability and pray for rng that we get some easy fights before we get our beloved cyan back . Especially since round the corner we have the thamasa boss fight

Well it was all built up for nothing really . Easy cake challenge in the end turns out you can just press dragon and leave it on auto battle to win ... Kind of a let down really but hey ho. Run ended at level 27 . Guess maybe I didn't need to do any str leveling after all I did 5 for magic from zozo to ifrit then had no choice but to grind one more level so I didn't die to level 5 death . After that smooth sailing through element master and the final challenge 128

Edit .just found out the Galypdes enemy in phoenix cave( enemy 167 in bestiary) has a celestraid for steal .... What the hell is that about is that new ? I thought it was only from brachy

I beat kefka I'm marsh he was really easy level 15 might have been a bit much for him since I trounced him to be honest.

Made my way to jidoor got new gear

Had a suprise death to iron fist his stone inflicted confuse on me and I ended up hitting myself resulting in a game over

Attempt number 2 I made it to zozo and it went well managed to survive hillgigas magnitude 8 with about 8 hp remaining died once or twice to him but eventually figured out a strat . Got the first espers

Onwards to the opera house but first a quick trip north to grab the missed hero ring

And here comes the hardest part of the whole challenge .

Magitek facility and number 128 . This is basically the end of the challenge since after this I get access to bismark and we know how it goes from there . Str to 128 and tempest everything into the after life

Any tips for 128 I'd really appreciate guys thank you for the support so far it's been a good challenge so far

So last night I beat phantom train today I'm going to start the next chapter . I imagine that the tough part will be doing the kefka narshe fight and probably ending at top of zozo

If anyone has any advice please slap it on here or pop in and help me out . I have played this game maybe 6 full times on play station one and iv done one run on pixel remaster .

I'm not allowing ap thanks to the boost function so no spells at all

But I will be allowing espers for stat upgrades .

Rules are when he's available I can only use him if forced to use other party members I'll be killing them off before he can do anything where possible

Spoilers ahead

For wor tower I'm thinking of using the no encounters when not on cyan so that they purely open the path . After each boss I will return and put him in a different position so I can kill everything with him only

Any suggestions are appreciated

Making an all-round build for pve with friends . So far I'm using 3 piece ongoing directive. Ninja bike . One piece umbral initiative

And Picaros holster

With my police M4 I got as a proto with 13 percent dmg targets out of cover and sadist

With technician I'm currently 2 blue 2 yellow 4 red +10 percent from holster

It's holding up pretty well in escalation just did a T4 and ended up at about 900 mil damage with 23 revives and I'm running heal chem launcher aswell

Any idea what I can do to improve . On survivability while retaining offence . Open to swap out holster and or knees (umbral initiative)

Should also say I'm getting 56 cc and 70 cd

But with 200 percent headshot damage

I was wondering if salvo would be a better choice since I have one with cc but also not tinkered so I could change weapon dam to armor

I'm using a stoner lmg for my secondary for getting the ammo for everyone before I swap to my m4
