2 and a half years late

Well it's only been 2 and a half years since these buses were meant to enter service but the Wright Electroliners have finally entered service on the 289.

These not so new buses feature charging (some are broken), two skylights on the upper deck, 3 iBus displays (some buses have issues with the displays), high back seats and a much nicer ride than the Enviro400s prior.

Now if you think some of the fleetcodes & reg plates look similar its because most of these buses actually came from Arriva London North who had priority over Thornton Heath. The Volvo BZLs have now finally arrived at Tottenham which allowed for the release of these buses.

My personal opinions are a little mixed. These buses are a massive step up from the crappy old E400s and I really like the design BUT for some reason the people of North London decided to near enough trash the buses so the backs of some seats are very rattly, the chargers on some buses are broken and (something that seems to occur across lots of Arriva Electroliners) the iBus is broken.

I'd give these buses an 8/10 as they are a massive step up and I really do like these buses but they are a little trashed, have some faults and brake very harshly

Place to store a bus in London

My friend might be acquiring an Enviro200 and wants somewhere as a backup to store it in case his current plan goes wrong.

The criteria right now is:

-Must actually be able to hold a 10.2m E200

-Should be cheap or even free

-Must be in London

-Should fit a tow truck that can tow a bus as it can't run on the road just yet

The current plan is to store it in Wandsworth until further notice, any info would be great!
