Do Jean and Scott ever talk about what went wrong?

TLDR: Are there any scenes post Jean’s resurrection where she and Scott talk about their marriage breakdown and he maybe apologises for the affair?

Hi all

Bit of context to my question. I am an older reader (43). I loved the comics as a kid but stopped reading in the late 90s.

A few years ago, I discovered Jay and Miles and have been re connecting big time with the franchise.

I have just finished the Morrison run: wow!

I was always sad to learn from a far that Scott had cheated on Jean. Now that I have read the run I can see that it was more complicated than that: not because a psychic affair doesn’t “count” but because it is pretty clear (to me) that Jean gave up on the marriage as well.

I love Jean so I am skipping straight from Morrison to her return. Currently wading through Krakoa - it’s a lot.

I am really interested to track down any scenes where Jean and Scott talk about what went wrong? Does Scott apologise for the affair (because he really, really doesn’t at the end of Morrison)?

I have read the scene where Scott is dead and Jean has just come back to life and they sort of reconcile.

I’m a Brit and *very* new to the world of (Ice) hockey. Sports fans within the loon community have been so helpful to me in increasing my knowledge.

I want to map out how good each of the characters is at hockey in relation to each other. I would love to know what others think.

*Generational*

Hollander

Rozanov

Genuine, once in a generation levels of talent - there just so happens to be two of them

*Elite*

Hunter

Kent

While not strictly generational, these guys are highly likely to be the superstar performer on their team. We know that Hunter has struggled with consistency but that feels like more of a “getting jaded” issue than a talent issue.

*Very good*

Vaughan

Haze

Bennett

Dagenais

Barrett

Strong players who are highly valued by their teams. Likely to be invited to all-star events and represent their country on Olympic teams and similar.

*Good*

Pike

Marlow

I’m only really basing this on the fact they play on the front line with the stars but don’t seem to make international teams etc

*Solid*

Price

Most of the Ottawa team

Clearly strong enough to play at pro level but not expected to have glittering careers. Ryan obviously has “additional bending” as an enforcer.

How did I do?

I suspect we all struggle with JJ’s behaviour in TLG.

But that doesn’t mean we can’t understand his pain.

One of his best friends kept a huge secret from him for years. Shane had good reason - but pain is not always rational.

Carter handled this so well in the Game Changer book. He confronted Scott about how hurt he was that his friend had kept his sexuality a secret even though he understood why. He didn’t skulk. He wasn’t passive aggressive. He raised it, dealt with it and moved on to become a super-supportive friend.

Be more Carter, JJ!
