My fleet post Defcon
After a lot of tinkering around going back and forth with so many other ships, these are what I landed on and why:
Perseus: do I really have to say anything about this beauty? Between its massive cannons, ability to carry an Ursa, and PDC’s , the Perseus is one of the best Mobile bases that looks and feels incredible wherever you take her.
Hull B: one of the best, if not the best medium haulers in the game. It can make you a TON of money doing cargo hauling , and in general, using the hull B as a daily driver is second to none. The interior, the handling of the ship , and its utility are sublime.
Asgard: The BEST all rounder in the game. It can pack a pretty decent punch with 16 size 3 missiles as well as 6 size 3 guns for the pilot, and the forward chin turret is placed perfectly to line up with the pilots target. The cargo bay is amazing in this ship. I have fit an Ursa medivac, an ATLS GEO, a tumbril cyclone, a Mirai fury, and a Nox , as well as an 8scu cargo box. You really can live out of this ship. only other ship that has the same utility would be the Hercules, but because it is much bigger it does not fit in as well as the Asgard does!
F7C Super Hornet MkII- the crème de la crème of the single seat fighters, plus room for one more! Amazing weapon loadout, the same as the shiv of course , but this bad boy can fit in most ships that have a hangar , and she’s deadly. I can honestly say she has made me 19 million aUEC in combat gauntlets over the weekend, earning me an in game Hermes, Clipper, Shiv, and Gladius , as well as an assortment of ground vehicles
Aurora MkII: one of my favorite ships. Quad size 2’s aren’t that heavy hitting, but with the right loadout (deadbolts and light strike) you can really be deadly,l. she handles great , has awesome quant fuel tank at 1.5m , and with the combat module, 3 size 1 shields and an additional 8 size 2 missiles are always welcome! With the cargo module, if you lock the cargo grid in the open position, I was easily able to fit the ATLS GEO, a mirai pulse and a 1scu storage box, with none of it moving off grid even when I went quantum , or even when I logged out and came back after a couple of days. A very underrated ship with a lot of utility crammed into a small package, and that interior !!! One of the best starter interiors, I hope the avenger titan gets a similar upgrade, NOT a mk2!!
The UTV: I love this cute little thing. It fits in almost any ship with a cargo grid and it’s a heck of a lot of fun to drive around. The additional 1scu in the best is helpful but so is the on-board storage you can use when raiding or on a loot run
