Bangaranga was the Europapa/Chachacha of this year

I have seen a lot of discourse about how "public is losing interest in funny boy" songs like Chachacha or Europapa because of how badly Ferto did (in comparison to the hype - 10th is still a great placement, idk what yall on). But I feel this crowd of people who vote for those songs just shifted to Bangaranga this year. I think the novelty / high energy repetitive songs are still very much in demand but most people are just blinded by the fact that it is just not a man who performed it.

Edit : The way this post hit a nerve with everyone in different ways lmao. Absolute Bangaranga

Shoutout to Romania 2026's stage visuals

With many very AI dodgy looking staging background this year, I feel that there is a need celebrate entries that really went out of their way to handcraft great staging visuals. So, I wanted to share and give a huge shoutout to the creative work of Apart Vision who were behind Romania's visuals this year. Really incredible stuff

Australians, what changed?

Was going through all the voting records this year to pick up interesting televote scores, and one of the biggest anomalies have to be Australia's televote score to a certain country.

Australia gave it 12s in 2025 and 2024 but suddenly it received not only 0 points but also was ranked 20th out of the televote. Not going to suggest anything but I mean, did they forget to wake up down under?

Mandatory NS Fit and Exit Permit Question

Hey all, so I am kind of in a weird situation where I am going for my overseas Masters (starting in September but flying off in August) but I need to complete the mandatory NS Fit (since I failed last cycle).

I actually have already signed up for all the 9 sessions + IPPT already but I was looking into the FAQ page and it states that my IPPT window will be disrupted if I apply for Exit Permit. So this means I cannot complete my current IPPT window (since IPPT is part of the NS FIT requirement).

Does that mean that I only need to do my NS Fit in the window when I return back to Singapore? I am quite concerned since I don't want to do like 9 sessions now and not be able to complete the NS Fit cycle (since I won't be able to do IPPT) and then when I return I start the NS Fit cycle all over again? I emailed them directly and they also just gave me a generic answer about IPPT being disrupted but nothing on the NS Fit cycle. If anyone have experience with this, please let me know. Right now I am thinking of just not applying for Exit Permit till I complete my NS Fit cycle but I will only complete it in end July and I fly off early August which is super tight.
