Kim Hye-soo: More than just RESCENE's manager
I did not realize that Kim Hye-soo was sooooo much more than just a manager of RESCENE.
A graduate of Berklee College of Music, she is a co-founder of the Muze Entertainment and serves as a director and executive at the agency.

RESCENE's diet?
Hi all,
I am new to RESCENE. I recently watched the videos where gyaru Minimi coined the now famous "Geoje YAHO" phrase.
Currently I am watching their appearance on "Idol Backstage".... and found it a little troubling.
In episode 1, RESCENE visit Zena's house after performing at Dongguk University's Gyeongju campus. There, Zena's mother asks what the girls eat... and Woni tells her that it is hard to talk about what they eat on camera, but admits that they eat mostly chicken breast and salad.
In episode 3, the girls get hungry during practice, so a manager brings the girls cucumber and tomatoes to eat.
I have not had a chance to watch Woni's Youtube channel vlogs yet, but do these girls ever get to eat anything good outside of events, shows, or content?

RESCENE's May: The tripleS that got away

Considering RESCENE's amazing rise in popularity in recent months, getting #1 on the Melon TOP100 with a 2 year old song and getting their first music show win recently, I am reminded that RESCENE's May was a ModHaus trainee and was offered a position in tripleS, but turned it down and ended up debuting under MUZE Entertainment.
I kind of wonder if tripleS would have felt any different with May onboard? And I wonder if she had accepted ModHaus' offer, which current tripleS member would we not have today? Would it just mean that members after May would just have their S number shifted by 1, hence resulting in S24 JiYeon no longer making the cut? No more "she's a ballerina" meme? Would it mean that Hayeon might have won Badge War 3?
Would love people's thoughts.

Just bought an RTX 5060 Ti. My Geekbench scores seem odd?
Hi guys,
I just bought an ZOTAC Gaming GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 8GB GPU from Amazon Resale for $300, which just arrived earlier today.
I figured I would try running Geekbench 6 on it, just to make sure its benchmark scores are consistent with other people's RTX 5060 Ti scores, in order to ensure that this used GPU from Amazon was legit.
If my GPU was legit, I would have expected a Geekbench 6 OpenGL score around 146234 and a Vulcan score of around 140147 (based on this article from Videocardz: https://videocardz.com/newz/first-leak-featuring-geforce-rtx-5060-ti-16gb-shows-13-14-performance-boost-over-4060-ti ).
Instead, my scores were 160875 for OpenGL ( https://browser.geekbench.com/v6/compute/6756074 ) and 151085 for Vulcan ( https://browser.geekbench.com/v6/compute/6756118 ).
Considering that I am running this PCIe Gen5 card on a PCIe Gen4 Ryzen 5900XT system, I was kind of expecting this GPU to get slightly lower benchmark numbers, not like 10% higher scores.
As far as I can tell, my Zotac card is even running at a slightly lower maximum frequency (2632 MHz) than the card shown in the Videocardz example (2647 Mhz), as well as a slower CPU and RAM.
Any ideas why I am getting Geekbench scores so high?

Did I overpay?
Hi,
I just placed an order on Amazon for the following laptop....
Gigabyte Gaming A16
CPU: Intel i7 13620H
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 w/ 8GB VRAM capped at 85 watts
RAM: 32 GB (2x16 GB) DDR5 5200MHz
SSD: 1 TB Gen 4 NVMe
Display: 16" 16:10 (1920x1200) 165Hz 300 nits IPS WUXGA
I got it for $1132 before tax.
I realize that GPU only runs at 85 watts instead of the full 115 watts that the RTX 5070 is capable of... presumably due to limitations in cooling... making this RTX 5070 mobile GPU perform more like a 115 watt RTX 5060 mobile GPU. Also, I saw a couple of reviews saying the 16" display's color accuracy is not very good and typically experiences 20 - 40 ms response times. Also I am disappointed that its USB ports, including its Type-C port, are limited to USB 3.2 Gen 1 speeds.
But given the RAM shortage, the SSD shortage, I think there is a CPU shortage too.... I decided to buy something now rather than wait for prices to go up even further. Apparently due to an imminent Samsung worker strike, RAM prices jumped like 24% in a single day.
Anyways, I was wondering if I overpaid for this laptop.... or if this was a decent deal.
