The internet is only slow on my laptop, it works just fine on my phone and other devices. Its driving me nuts, can anyone help?

my pc cant handle most high end games, you can call it a potato pc. But I really wanna play a good rpg with the lore and fun combat of BMW. Specifically I wanna fight with a staff, so recommend me some games like that.
