Saw someone on reddit do this so I thought might as well try myself since it worked for him.

Bare with me on this one, I am someone who's moving to Abu Dhabi from the UK, I'm transferring from University of Essex to ADU, probably not the best move to some people, but I'm doing this because at least for my uni, I've had a lot of issues with the Uni's ongoing protests and social life generally, and instead of transferring within the UK and risking facing the same problem again, I chose to just transfer to the UAE, has the best of both worlds, great uni, great lifestyle (The UK is modest in terms of how pricey things are here), and hopefully great people.

And I know it'll sound like I'm "Desperate" or whatever, but earlier in the year, I made an online girlfriend from Egypt, the relationship was long distance for a while, however sadly it didn't work out due to the girl shifting her attention towards another Man, won't blame her honestly, because she's relatively younger than I am (She's 17), so she didn't really clearly know what she wanted. Point is I realised I kind of want someone who has a similar mindset and interests that I have, as she did, coming into the UAE.

So for those interested, here's what I would likely want in my potential partner, ill mention what are the deal breakers.

Firstly, she has to be Ideally Egyptian (Could be any other Arab Nationality, but huge points if your egyptian), she has to be Open Minded and Understanding (not too open minded but most Egyptians know what an "Open minded" Egyptian is, and this is a non negotiable), non judgemental, meaning someone who doesn't judge so easily. Im not strict about looks, but if your too lets say, big, scroll past this reddit post, and when I say big I mean obese, not moderately fat or average, your fine if your like average or a little chubby.

Enough about the qualities I want, more about my personality and interests, if you overlap with 80% or more, comment down to dm please, otherwise, you can try your luck if you want, but if its less than half, don't bother commenting.

So my hobbies are gaming, listening to music, watching different shows and movies, and I make Youtube videos from time to time

- The games that I like playing are Fortnite, Roblox, Cyberpunk, and Minecraft (I play other games too but these are my main)

- For music I like a variety of music, mostly English, although I do like some modern arabic songs, for the sake of mentioning as well, I like BTS, Baby Monster (I enjoy quite a bit of Kpop yes), and Chris Grey, I also enjoy nightcore music a lot.

- For shows, so far I've watched Young Sheldon, Squid Game, Hazbin Hotel, Helluva Boss, Nice to Not Meet You (A Kdrama, I got into kdrama because of this show), and Arcane.

- For Movies, I watched Kpop demon hunters, and all the Miles Morales Movies, and the sonic the hedgehog movies.

As for my Youtube channel, you can ask me about it if you want its more personal to me than something I'm willing to share here 😭

Im someone who's open minded and emotionally Intelligent (I think), as long as your also trying as well, I'm someone who's caring and willing to do anything to keep my girl Happy and emotionally safe, ( THAT DOES NOT MEAN I WANT GOLD DIGGERS THOUGH, I'm looking for a well rounded person, with majority of the things I just mentioned present, at least 80% for guaranteed approval, but I would still consider if its more than half. ), but I do expect a lot of the same as well, that my girl is also emotionally intelligent, and is also empathetic and caring, I want the relationship to feel more like a "flow" rather than friction or a burden, where both me and my girl are giving and taking, that it doesn't feel like I'm the only one putting effort.

Im not sure if what I wrote here is demanding, but to me at least, I feel like these are like the basics to a relationship, with Interests, and emotional empathy and understanding all coming together, that's what makes a relationship survive in my opinion.
