Since a month my car has been saying that the DPF filter is full and i should keep driving. I drive daily 20 minutes on the highway to and another 20 minutes back, and have done it on high RPM a couple of times. The message would go away after about 15 minutes, but would return every time i restart the car. The car also gave the message to get the car serviced asap, and was in a sort of limp mode after a few days
I went to the mechanic and he tried forcing the regeneration, but it failed (probably due too the limp mode?)
I read the fault code and it said the following errors:
| Code | Description |
|---|---|
| P2628 | Heated oxygen sensor (HO2S) 1, bank 1, pumping current trim - circuit high |
| P0135 | Heated oxygen sensor (HO2S) 1, bank 1, heater control - circuit malfunction |
| P2297 | Heated oxygen sensor (HO2S) 1, bank 1 - signal out of range during deceleration |
| P2463 | Diesel particulate filter (DPF) - DPF restricted |
| P242F | Diesel particulate filter (DPF) - blockage/ash accumulation |
Few days later i went back to the mechanic and he cleaned the DPF and was able to force the regeneration. Service message is gone and car is no longer in limp mode, but the DPF is full message remains.. And it won't even go away after driving 20+ minutes at ~3000 RPM at 120km/h.
I have driven at least 300 km since the fault code reset, and don't see any faults coming back.
What could be the cause? Are there any sensor values I should try to check? Any other tips?
My mechanic said that he didn't know directly and would have to try different things to get it fixed. I'm not willing to spend money to solve something that may not be the problem.
