I love Stalker 2 but...
Holy shit... did the game just remind me what game i was playing. Doing the quest to turn off the psi-emitters in the swamp area. I have good gear, plenty of ammo. Playing on Stalker difficulty since it's my first Stalker game ever otherwise id play a harder difficulty. (Always been interested, but I steer clear of most things horror due to my anxiety and heart issues). Anyways... I was in the swamp. Minding my bidness, trotting through the unholy sludge that is the swamp (I hate this area). I take down all the emitters and (do not read past here to avoid spoilers if you're new) I ran into the big ol mutant that's there... the one that knocks you down causing you to bleed with damn near every hit. I kill it. No biggie. Emission happens. There's NO DAMN SHELTER IN THE SWAMP. I die. Load save. Chimera eating my ass before I can even turn. Stunlocks me into the death screen over and over. I kill it once more. Emission. Last save that was even close to being safe... an hour prior.
I am in a abusive relationship with this game. Lol
