Should I break up a close friendship if she keeps making me pay for everything?
So me(17M) and my friend (17F) have been close friends for a few years now and since our 12th finished, we have been hanging out almost daily. She’s a nice person but a lot of things have been irking me these past few months. Whenever we go out she never pays for anything and even when she does ask to split the bill(which happens very rarely), I end up paying 70% anyways. I don’t mind paying but honestly she kinda acts entitled like she always picks the more expensive options. If I’m drinking a ₹40 diet coke she picks up a ₹250 monster without hesitation. Also not to mention I pay for the fuel for the car too. She even hesitates to return me my things like I gave her my ps5 for a month cuz of competitive exams and she made like 10 excuses before I got it back. It feels like she values my wallet more than me. Ik it’s partially my fault too cuz my introverted ahh has trouble saying ‘NO’ and drawing boundaries lol. WTF do I do?💔
