anyone know a mod that puts back the stuff rockstar cut from enhanced?

kinda bothers me that they took stuff out. i can handle seeing things i might not agree with, i just want the game as it was without someone else deciding what i should or shouldn't see. mainly after a mod that restores the confederate flag, the drag queen npcs outside cockatoos, that captain spacetoy figure, and the dialogue that got disabled. pretty sure all of it is still in the legacy files. has anyone seen a mod for this yet or is someone working on one? cheers.

The Steam Controller is disappointing to me.

I have a 1tb steam deck oled so I have an idea of what the steam controller experience is like. I also use a ps5 controller my brother gave me after it developed slight stick drift and he upgraded to one with modded tmr sticks that he had bought on ebay. I usually play on pc connected to a my tv while relaxing in bed.

What I love about the dualsense: The built in mic is great for quick voice chat without wearing a headset. If I do want headphones at night I plug straight into the controllers audio jack. The adaptive triggers are also something I love. they are a bit gimmicky but I find them genuinely fun and immersive in games like tlou and gta5. The buttons and d-pad are also imo way more satisfying and easier to press than the steam decks. The only flaw is the slight stick drift that the ps5 controller my bro gave me has as i have mentioned.

When the new steam controller was announced I seriously considered it. The £85 price is steep for a casual gamer but I understand it has some advanced features like two trackpads (I only ever used them on desktop mode but it's still nice to have), stick touch sensors for gyro aiming, four back buttons (though I never really used them on my steam deck) and of course the tmr hall effect sticks. I was willing to put aside the price until three things killed my interest completely.

No adaptive triggers. I know it's mostly a playstation feature but plenty of pc games support it now and I genuinely enjoy them. No built in mic, even though the steam deck has 2. And most importantly no headphone jack on the controller itself, so even if I give up on the mic I still can't just plug headphones in at night.

At this point the only things the steam controller offered me that I actually cared about were the tmr sticks, trackpads and stick touch sensors. I can get a modded dualsense with tmr sticks installed on ebay for less than half the price, like I said its how my brother got his and it works perfectly. As for the trackpad, while the dualsense only has one, it also works fine as a desktop mouse, not as comfortable as the steam deck trackpads but it gets the job done. The only real feature I'd be missing is the touch sensors for gyro activation. With the dualsense I either have to leave gyro always on or always off on games. Also this might be a bit subjective but assuming the steam controller is made out of the same material as the steam deck which it seems to be, I feel as if the ps5 controller feels more solid and comfortable. the plastic does not creak easily like mine and many other steam deck oleds do, and I also prefer the smooth plastic faceplate on the ps5 controller.

Overall the steam controller to me at least is disappointing and I no longer have any desire to get one as I once did with how I can get a used ps5 controller with tmr sticks for as cheap as £40 on ebay. Curious if anyone else feels the same or if anyone has anything to say about my opinion.
