Karney is prepared to surrender to some U.S. demands including ending bans on American booze sales in exchange for tariff relief, as trade talks heat up once again...(not fact checked but on the main news wire). Though the decision is up to Provincial leaders, many have made their position clear that the ban will continue until US concessions on specific trade deals are resolved or ratified. It seems that Nova Scotia has been silent on that bearing. Is there value to Nova Scotians to pull the ban and restock shelves with US Booze.

I moved here 40 years ago and it took me a while to get used to this province and city. I've set roots and grew a family, volunteered in my community and got involved with local interest groups. Now that I'm retired here, I look forward to how my children and grand children will grow with this city. I believe the current state of affairs is quite tolerable and offers a suitable environment to prosper and establish roots themselves. I do however foresee major hurdles with the growth of Halifax. It seems to me that the city is for sale to the highest bidder... local or foreign (dont get your shorts in a knot, I refer the adjective foreign, specifically to this province...from another place). Where do you see Halifax heading... in the right direction or another institution rapped of its financial capabilities and left to burn as a failed state engulfed by corruption and indifference. Thoughts

I didn't have the opportunity to read any feedback on this past week end Music Fest... how was the venue? Getting there? Parking? Food and beverages? Security? Sounds? And overall concert???
