Board game?

My wife and I visited Sanibel this past January and we absolutely fell in love with the island. She was already an avid sheller, and Sanibel helped kindle a passion for it in me, too! Ever since our visit, we have had Sanibel on our minds and we hope to make it a regular vacation destination.

The other day, I was at Barnes & Noble and my attention was immediately drawn to a large box with “Sanibel” printed prominently on it. I also immediately recognized the lighthouse. At first, I thought it was a puzzle, but it’s actually a sea shell collection board game. I bought it immediately, but we haven’t had a chance to play yet.

Has anyone played this game yet? I hope it’s good!

Garbage finds

A while ago I posted my Lego garbage finds from the dump I manage. Since then, I’ve found so much more.

Sometimes I find sealed or opened sets, other times it’s bulk bins or loose pieces. The garbage gods decide if, when, and what I find. The condition of my finds can vary wildly. Sometimes my finds are pristine, other times they’re disgusting.

I offload the Ninjago, Marvel, DC, etc. I find while putting all the Star Wars to the side. My hope is to piece together an impressive Lego Star Wars collection that costs me $0. Best finds so far are Queen Amidala, Star Killer, Slave Leia, and Oola.

Bootleg/ Keshi R2D2?

I recently found a few bins of bulk Lego that included some rather rare and valuable minifigures. Bulk bins are often filled with garbage, lint, and other toys. This blue R2D2 was mixed in with the Lego. I didn’t think anything of it, but decided to use Google Lens on it. It seems to be an exact match for a listing on a famous online auction site. Could this be a Japanese bootleg/ Keshi R2 or is it something far less interesting?

Sorry for the sub quality photos. Thanks in advance for your help!
