Any route planner for charging along the way?
I'm new to electric cars, and I want to plan a route that includes charging, is there any app or software that helps with this?
I see the Google Maps is great at telling you the closest charging point, but that's not what I want to know, I want to know the furthest charging point along my route that is still within my range.
Even better if it can take into account the charging times at each point and calculate the best combination possible.
EDIT: Many thanks to all the people who contributed ideas. I had a look at all the possibilities, and it seems that abetterrouteplanner.com does exactly what I need.
I'll be renting a car so I'm not sure exactly what satnav it will have, but I totally agree with posters who said that the car manufacturers and app publishers should make sure that the two can talk to each other so that the car updates the app on its charge level.
