Hey guys!! I ran a weekend group of basketball outdoor pickup games in the summer months at a park near Forest Hills, but Covid came and it died out and never returned. Anyways, I'm going to resurrect it. I have a few guys already in a WhatsAPP Group and just need a few more.
Requirements are simple.... Please be between the ages of 35-60ish. Be social and friendly. Show good sportsmanship (please no hotheads). Have a good knowledge of the game, know how to dribble, shoot and pass. Or if you are just a good shooter, that might be good enough. Please, no newbies but not a blue chipper at the same time, someone in between that is fundamentally sound. And finally, be consistent and show up to play.
Games will be on Saturdays, starting June 6, 2026 (8:30 or 9am, have not decided yet). We are looking for about 15-20 people and that's it. We want to keep the number of people low because we want quick games with no long waits for the next game. Only serious people should inquire. SPOTS are LIMITED.
