take Met with your GLP1?
Been on Tirz for my PCOS and obesity disease since November 2024. Have had success with losing some weight. I need to lose about another 15 to reach maintenance. BUT, I’ve been in a crazy stall since January. Nothing is budging the stall and YES I do all the thing like hydrate protein fiber macros weighted exercise sleep etc etc, yes still no weight loss. Also, I’m in perimenopause and on HRT. I’ve been adjusting those meds and checking labs to see what needs tweaking.
I have asked my provider if I can add on a stack with Metformin and she approved. I’ll be started 500mg a day first two weeks then to 1,000mg if I can tolerate any of the typical met side effects. I’m also adding in inositol (4,000mg).
Anyone have success with the combo of glp1 + metformin? +HRT ?
