Defensive Pair hockey talk
Not sure how to phrase the title but I'm curious if there's on ice commands I don't really know. Never played hockey growing up and then played forward for a long time. I'm on two separate teams where I play D, and on one I'm paired with a guy who played a decently high level. Him and I both talk a lot and occassionally he'll throw out something I haven't heard.
The phrases i'm thinking are like "pinch," "switch," "cover," "gap." (Edit: I know what these mean, they were just examples of things people yell).
Any other d to d talk that would be helpful to know? I love hockey tactics in general and am just curious what else I'm missing.
