Advice?

Hi guys, I'm back! I'm in HS rn, and I need some advice on college applications. I would say I am a pretty average student in terms of GPA. I have researched at local universities, and I have been doing dance for the past 10-11 years of my life. SAT score above 1370. I'm an officer for some of the clubs at my school related to my major. YK, pretty standard jo-shmo applicant.

I have heard that if I am in this position, essays are my best friend? Like the personal statements and prompts are the best way to showcase my aptitude?

can anyone help? Honestly anyone thats an alumni of this college application process, committed to a university or ANYTHING?

Hi guys, so I've been studying for the AP Biology exam for the last like MONTH, so I have a really solid understanding of all the material and all the units but my test-taking skills are so so ass.

There are the Barron's practice tests first, which feel relatively easy to me. I score decently on those(like maybe a 4 or a 5), and the ap class room progress checks, like average above a 18-19/24(make of that what you will) but I just took a practice exam this morning, I think it was the 2013 exam MCQ, it was THE HARDEST, hardest shit ever, like genuinely I failed that and NOW I'm scared because I really, really, really need a 5 on this exam and that score is SO bad(like 60%).

Now I guess it's the home stretch, so there's not much I can do, but the good thing is I don't need to learn any more material, as my knowledge is solid, but if anyone could give me tips/tricks to do last-minute to help prepare, that would be awesome! Also, people who have already taken it, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE give your insight, I am really, really passionate about biology with the hopes to become a doctor, and I want to also get into a decent university, and that all starts with doing well and getting a 5 on the test. So I guess my final statements are:

  1. Cooked or will I do fine?
  2. How was the past AP Bio exam(like 2025 or 2024)
  3. Tips to do the day before/day of the exam? Sleeping 13 hours on Sunday night isn't possible bc of NERVES
  4. Is this test the do-all end-all? lwk crashing out, so I'm ranting, but Reddit seemed as good of a place as any to do so LOL.

Words cannot describe how badly I want a 5 on this exam... Anyways any insight is appreciated and welcome, thanks 🙏
