Hi,
I tried to fly my DJI Avata 360 and hit a tree branch. It then fell onto a large pile of grass. The body, camera, and propellers appear to be perfectly fine, with no scratches. However, when I try to use it, the drone shows a “gimbal recalibration” error, and the recalibration fails every time. After that, another warning appears: “high altitude angle,” and occasionally I also get a “compass recalibration” message.
The impact shouldn’t have been that severe, since the altitude was quite low and it landed on soft grass.
Could this be a manufacturing defect that only became noticeable after the crash? I understand it was my fault, but it’s strange that so many components seem to be affected.
Also, when I first received the Avata, there was a loose screw in the package, which seemed unusual.
Thank u for your kind message. I will obviously send it to DJI, but I wanted to ask if someone had this type of issues after a crash.
