This is my go-to refreshing snack. So simple and easy with my food processor.
In the processor, I dump a 15oz can of cooked chickpeas/garbanzo beans but save the aquafaba in cup on the side, and blend until grainy. then I add in a 1/4 cup lemon juice, a 1/4 cup of tahini, and a couple tablespoons of olive oil. after I let the food processor run another minute, I scrape the sides with a rubber spatula and add a few cloves of minced garlic, half a teaspoon of cumin, half a teaspoon of salt and blend another minute. While its running, ill add a dash or two of the aquafaba until it smooths out.
When serving some hummus in a small bowl, I sprinkle a good bit of za'atar seasoning over and slice half an english cucumber. Too good.
