Mbappé: Stop Prioritizing Your Brand Over Winning

Aren’t you being a bit too much? You get "injured" against top teams, but then you start and play the full 90 minutes against minnows just to pad your stats. Then you turn around and act like you’re not the coach’s first choice. Even Deschamps lost his job trying to protect you, and the caretaker coach wouldn’t dare target you anyway. Turns out getting a World Cup title so early in your career might not have been a good thing. It stunted your growth at club level. You keep saying Cristiano Ronaldo is your idol and that you want to learn from Messi. But what exactly have you picked up from them? You don’t have their hunger to win or their pride. At your age, those two always put winning first. You? You’re always putting your market value, your ego, and your status first. You demand tactical importance on the pitch and locker-room clout off it. You’re a player first then a celebrity, not the other way around. Respect is earned by playing well, not by putting on airs. I never joined in the previous controversies or criticisms of you. But this time you really broke my heart, mate. The caretaker coach is sidelining the team’s star player, and I’m just dumbfounded.

Office white elephant gift exchange. Max $15. Need something that won't get instantly re-gifted.

Our office does a white elephant exchange every year and it's usually a parade of scented candles, novelty socks, and gift cards to places no one asked for. Last year I got a candle that smelled like 'fresh laundry' but was actually just headache in a jar.

This year I want to bring something that people actually fight over. Limit is 15and Ijust happened,to make 15andIjusthappenedtomake50 in commission on Digchic, so that pretty much covers it. Nothing crazy, just something genuinely useful or fun. Something that makes people go 'oh, I actually want that' instead of polite smiling while plotting their re-gift strategy.

I was thinking about a nice keychain or bag charm. Everyone has keys, everyone has bags, and most people's current keychain situation is depressing. A cute, well-made one feels personal without being too specific to any one person's taste.

It needs to be gender-neutral enough that anyone would want it. Nothing too cutesy, nothing too masculine. Just something that elevates the daily routine of carrying keys.

What white elephant gifts have you seen actually generate excitement? I'm tired of contributing to the landfill. Be gentle with me if this post isn't perfect. Thanks for understanding!

That being said, I tested a robot mower years ago and detested how it turned in place, blanketing my 0.3-acre lawn with bunny-eared bald donuts. That single thing turned me off the tech completely.

Now I see ads from Navimow X4 for its zero-turn features. Is turf safe finally better steering logic, or is celebrated turf-safe just marketing parlance?

If you have used the X4 how does it really turn without killing the grass? I would appreciate some field-tested feedback before I put the tarmac on the line again.
