Portugal includes Jota in squad 😢

So portugal just announced their squad for the worldcup… and yeah, Jota is on it. number 20
Not gonna lie, seeing his name there hit me right in the feels. Honestly a really beautiful gesture from the team. Football can be brutal, but moments like this remind you it’s also about memory and respect

Spain's 1st choice goalkeeper is bringing up debate among football fans.

I can't wrap it up in my mind that the keepers who won the laliga and the premier league won't be the starters for Spain in the world cup. The most interesting thing is that they both have conceded the least goals in their respective leagues.

Now to make this even more interesting is that the 1st choice keeper is 12th in laliga and has conceded 54 goals this season.

Maybe the coach knows better, but that is insane. If you were to win a title such as the world cup, you should take your best player to be starters.

The Premier League season has concluded, and Arsenal have finally claimed the title.

After last night’s 1-1 draw between manchester city and bournemouth, arsenal officially secured the Premier League title with one game still to play. It’s their first league title in 22 years, and also the first premier league trophy of the arteta era.
Honestly, if you’ve watched Arsenal over the last few seasons, you know how much this meant to the club and the fans. They’ve spent years being mocked for collapsing in the second half of the season, constantly losing momentum right when the pressure peaked. Every year people said the same thing: “arsenal don’t have the mentality to win titles.”
But this season felt different. They handled the pressure, stayed together, and kept fighting even when the criticism got loud. Arteta himself carried massive expectations on his shoulders, and now it’s finally paid off.
Love them or hate them, Arsenal earned this title the hard way.

Cherki is a double edged sword

Cherki is a double edged sword. His playing style fits more with players from mid table sides. He tends to dwell on the ball too much and lacks sufficient off ball running. He put in decent performances in his first campaign at Manchester City but he is far from being the regular number ten of the team.

Fans often comment on him that he is underestimated by neutral fans and overhyped by his own supporters. This comment fits him perfectly.

Brazil's Gabriel Martineli is a good player, but being picked ahead of Joao Pedro for the world cup is unfair.

Gabriel Martineli plays for Arsenal who is set to win the premier league title and champions league trophy. Gabriel Martineli has scored 11 goals across all competitions for Arsenal. He has been called up for the world cup by the Brazilian national team Carlos Ancelloti.

Joao Pedro plays for Chelsea playing the best football of his career. So far, he has scored about 21 goals for Chelsea across all competitions. Unfortunately for Joao Pedro, he has been overlooked by the Brazilian national team coach.

Overally, Joao Pedro has had a better season than Martineli only not to be picked for the world cup.I feel for him honestly! I found this site where you can watch replays and matches on any of your devices comfortably. https://sportsflux.live

How will Messi perform in this World Cup?

I don’t think anyone expects prime 2012 messi anymore, but writing him off before a world cup has always been dangerous. What makes Messi scary now isn’t explosiveness, it’s control. He walks through games, studies the tempo, then suddenly decides the match with one pass nobody else even sees.

Argentina also feels different now compared to past eras. The squad no longer depends entirely on him carrying every attack alone. That actually helps messi more at this stage of his career. He can pick moments instead of forcing them for 90 minutes.

Will he dominate every game? Probably not. But in tournament football, one magical moment changes everything. A free kick, a through ball, a slow dribble that breaks a defensive line that’s still there.

And honestly, nobody wants to face messi in a knockout match. Even at 39.

Who will miss this World Cup?

One underrated part of every World Cup cycle is realizing how many great players quietly miss out entirely. Injuries, failed qualifiers, ageing squads, bad timing, it happens every tournament.

By 2026, we’ll probably see a painful list again. Some veterans simply won’t make the final squad anymore, some nations won’t qualify, and a few stars will get unlucky right before the tournament. That’s football. Four years feels short until you realize careers can collapse in six months.

People always talk about who will shine at the World Cup, but the stories that stick with me are the players who never get that final dance. Think about all the legends who left the game without one last tournament run.

2026 will create new heroes, sure. But it’ll also quietly close the chapter on an entire generation.

So who do you think will miss this World Cup?

Tottenham's worrying relegation background

Spurs genuinely being dragged into a relegation conversation in 2026 feels like the most tottenham thing imaginable. One week they look capable of beating a top four side, the next they concede three goals to a team that couldn’t score in weeks. The squad still has quality, but the mentality looks completely broken.

What’s wild is that this isn’t even about talent anymore. It’s injuries, confidence, and a club culture that somehow turns every crisis into dark comedy. The atmosphere around the club feels toxic, fans are exhausted, and every away game looks like survival football now.

That said, I still think they stay up. Barely. There are worse teams in the league, and spurs usually find a chaotic way to escape disaster at the last second. But honestly, even surviving this season shouldn’t be considered a success. It’s a warning sign.

Let’s talk seriously about our summer transfer window plans

What do you all think about selling Joshua Zirkzee and bringing in a pacey, hard-running striker with strong movement or better directness It would open up more tactical options There’s no need to keep two lumbering target man centre forwards in the squad right now

If we’re looking for this type of player who in the Premier League would fit the bill Any recommendations

For midfield my top pick from the linked targets is Tchouaméni We need a defensive midfielder with massive defensive coverage and athleticism to act as a midfield shield to partner with Bruno Fernandes Players like Mount and Mainoo would just add depth to the midfield bench

At the back we need to strengthen the left back spot Shaw’s availability is far from guaranteed for next season On the right Dalot and Mazraoui are still usable Even though everyone criticizes Dalot we don’t have the budget to sign anyone better in that position this summer 😂

At centre back barring injuries the first choice pair would be Martínez plus de Ligt with Maguire as backup If we add a new left back Shaw can even cover centre back as a backup so that position would be okay If we were to strengthen the centre back position who would you all recommend

Let’s discuss our transfer strategies and targets across all three lines this summer

It might be the most reasonable choice not to sack Slot this season

Slot’s tactics are ugly, the performances are underwhelming, but the results are still acceptable. The team just won the league title last season, and they’re likely to secure Champions League qualification again this term. Giving him another season is a sensible move. Constantly changing coaches in the short term could send the club down the same slippery slope as Manchester United, leading to even worse results.

UNFAIR: How can you be top scorer of the French Ligue and NOT make the French world cup squad? What else have you gotta do as a striker?

You have to feel sad for Estéban Lepaul. You just had an outstanding Ligue1 season by scoring 20 goals and yet the national team coach doesn't even consider you for a call up. After Ekitike's injury, Deschamps should have considered Esteban.

It is unfair but if he could reciprocate this kind of form next season then the coach has no choice than to include him to the national team. Some will say that those called up ahead of him are better than him, but they didn't score 20 goals this season.

The FA Cup final honestly feels bigger than just another trophy this year.

For Chelsea F.C., this is a chance to prove that the rebuild is finally becoming something real. The squad is ridiculously young, inconsistent at times, but there’s also genuine energy around this team now. You can see the identity starting to form. Players like Cole Palmer have completely changed the mentality of this side. The guy genuinely looks like he was built for big occasions, and you already know the scriptwriters are preparing something against his former club.

The biggest question for Chelsea is whether they can survive the pressure once Manchester City F.C. start controlling possession. Because let’s be honest City in finals are terrifying. Even when they don’t look spectacular, they suffocate games. One minute you think you’re growing into the match, the next you realize you haven’t touched the ball for four minutes straight.

At the same time, this City side doesn’t feel quite as invincible as previous versions. There have been moments this season where transitions and defensive concentration looked vulnerable, especially against quick counterattacks. That’s exactly where Chelsea can hurt them. If Palmer, Nicolas Jackson and the wide players find space early, this could become a very uncomfortable game for City.

Then there’s Erling Haaland. Finals are weird with him because he can look quiet for 80 minutes and still end the night with the winning goal. One cross, one second of hesitation, and it’s over. That’s the psychological pressure City put on teams.

What makes this final fascinating is the contrast in mentality. Chelsea are playing like a young team trying to announce itself to Europe again. City are playing like a machine that expects to win every major game it enters.

And honestly. That’s what makes the FA Cup special.

One game at Wembley.

One moment changes everything.

Legacy, banter, trophies, pressure all of it packed into 90 minutes.

Can’t wait for this one.

Brazilian winger selection

I can’t figure out what Ancelotti is thinking. How is there talk that Marquinhos’ inclusion would take Pedro’s spot? I also see people hesitating between the Pedro playing for Lyon and the one from the Brazilian league.
