(I don't really know what perks to go for tho apart from the obvious ones like firbug and interference)

"In the shatterspace I came from, the world was ruled by a council of eggheads. And all of the people lived in despair, existing only to work for the empire. I'm not interested in the idea of a new government of eggs, especially if they're as rotten as the last..."

Nine is open to hear what anyone representing the rebuilding empire has to say, but is quite skeptical.

The day of the final battle, Nine was transporting his finite weapons, the counter to infinite's energy, to the resistance. Upon arriving, he was instantly knocked out, the adrenaline from escaping his redacted location wearing off. Immediately, he was rushed to medical care. He is now waking up, after the events of the final battle.

"Wha... What happened? Infinite... The battle... My finite weapons!"

He looks towards you

(seriously what happened, I wasn't there for the final battle and this is my explanation to why Nine wasn't on the frontlines)

From his hidden location, Nine is packing a load of boxes containing some sort of weapons into his ship. He finished his converter a few days ago, when he sent a message to the resistance along with his co-ordinates. However, he was informed a battle was taking place very soon, and there was no time for a party to collect his tech and bring them back in time. However, the resistance weren't the only ones to receive his location...

"It's finally ready for use in the field. "Finite energy." A laser imbued with the converter I created that transforms infinite's reality warping energy back to normal. I've weaponised them so they can be used offensively against that infinite guy and whatever reality breaking stunt he pulls*-*"

Alert! Red spy Hostiles in the base!

"Time to pack it up and go."

But... the rumbling from earlier seems to have been caused by these enemies.

"Huh-" Suddenly, the entire tower begins falling down-

Smash-!

Breaking through the doors, the infinite number of infinite goons show themselves.

"Time to field test."

Picking up the nearest finite pistol, he instantly takes aim at the one rushing towards him.

They get completely evaporated

While shooting more - "The energy signature was predictable. Sorry, infinite, but I've already dealt with reality warping energy before."

The tower leans harder, rubble falling from the celing, everything in the lab slowly shattering and breaking, including the weapons

"Need to leave now..."

But within all the chaos, a single one jumps through the falling rubble and debris and-

Zap!

"What, you thought I wouldn't infuse finite energy into my own tails? Please, I've had with better inventions."

Nine runs to the launchpad, the tower almost collapsing over

"Haven't had enough time to test it, but the shatterdrive should be adaped to handle infinite's energy. This better work..."

Nine adds a sample of infinite energy which was left by some crushed goons to his shatterdrive. The tower leans further, him now facing the ground, seconds away from impacting directly into the ground

"Come on...!"

The lights turn on, and he pulls up as fast as he can

One inch from the ground-

The bottom of the ship scrapes the ground, but otherwise...

Nine sighs the biggest sigh of relief he's ever done

"Now, time to get this tech to the resistance before the fight"

And with that, he dissapears into the distance at maximum speed.

Bzzt

"This is Nine ...Bzzt... I've-"

Nine's voice keeps cutting in and out

"Silver ...Bzzt... The energy converter ...Bzzt... complete ...Bzzt... these ...Bzzt... my coordinates..."

A loud thud is heard over the microphone

"There's some here ...Bzzt... I'll be fine ...Bzzt... This converter will ...Bzzt... Our victory...

From his lab, he sees a huge red light, before everything nearby becomes corrupted. He scans the corruption using his scanner

"Doesn't look ideal. But this energy... warping reality, very similar to the prism. I need to find where this is coming from."

And so, he begins running from his lab to the throne room, unknowing of everyone's new alliances...
