Freelancer image thing

thing i photoshopped a long time ago by blacking out the characters from that one freelancer image from og entry point. sending it here again cause it looks cool also cause i lost the original account i commented this image under and i need to post in communities which are karma locked 😢 😢. also added an inverted version cause its easier on the eyes but original one is better at highlighting them i feel.

anyway here is the original post i made about some minecraft art for the game for which i used this image as a reference: https://www.reddit.com/r/entrypoint/comments/1cniyxd/entry_point_art_minecraft_classic/

Because I Am That Bored, Here Is A Tier List On What Eye Color I Think Each Character Has

My ratings were partially based on some stickers in the official Freefall Softworks Discord and my own thoughts.

It should be rather obvious, but I feel like I have to disclaim this anyway: This is obviously a headcanon/theory; not canon.

In my opinion: EPFC is easier then EP

For some reason the missions are easier and there's more ways to victory.

Take: The deposit, in the Entry point there was only 1 way to beat it on quiet and 2 on loud, but now there are multiple progression methods, like using the fire escape. Also you don't need to find Deposit box nor need a keycard at Recruit. Or Lake house, which hilariously easy compared to Entry point 2017 where you only have to grab 2 servers instead of 6 on loud or Withdraw where you only have to grab 2 money bags compared to 6. Hell even Scientist is easier as not everyone can detect you plus the map is more open.

Plus detection system feels easier on recruit on Freelancers cut compared to Entry point 2017. You actually have time to react after they sound the alarm, instead just getting shot at or them running away and not everyone detects you.

Also you can disable Radios and with at least 1 level of social engineering an extra one and 2, I believe up to 5.

Also the skills system is been overhauled with the ability to now remove them at will without needing to respec and being able to change your core skill. Plus there's now combat training and getting equipment is easier

Speaking of that; you don't need to waste as many precious skill points to unlock certain items/the ability to use them. Also the items in the game are really good compared to Entry point. Plus most EP items are available in FC. Except Blowtorch, which kinda got replaced by Saw and Screwdriver. Also there's a Brick in Freelancers cut so yea.

But: I do think there are a few aspects that make it harder: Trespassing detection, instead of just stopping at 1.75 bars? It goes all the way until full and ripping doors down in harder as you can't pick or drill on the ground, plus armor is worse in FC as there isn't any Aegis.

Did Operators become Entry Point Freelancer's Cut?

Operators Demo is now replaced by Freelancer's Cut demo. Does this mean that Freelancer's Cut is Operators? Sorry if the question is dumb, I rarely play Roblox anymore.

Lockpick vs Drill in EPFC/Operators?

Compared to the original game, the drill is much more versatile in epfc, opening basically everything the lockpick can, and much more, and it saves 100% of progress. The upside to lockpicking is that it's always silent, never lures guards, and takes up less inventory space. Has lockpick fallen off?

Don't you just love this NPC path?

I've been restarting The Financier for over 10 minutes now trying to get inside the security center after killing the power without any of the 2 guards blocking the way. Such rotten luck is diabolical, but why even need to rely on luck for this in the first place?

What a design, I hate it so much.

I have a little question: if I remove the camera operator and knock out guard, does his radio activate? Mission: the lakehouse

Some of the game / stage designs are really, really annoying

Look man, I love Entry Point, and I love EP:FC's new mechanics, but it's just that there are some trivial mechanics that I really hate and just overall makes the game frustrating.

So far I've only completed The Deposit and The Financier, and I already ranted about the latter. I've been trying to complete The Withdrawal lately, and dear god why does the Lead Security immediately detects the opened vault at the doorway??

The fact that the VIP disguise immediately deems you trespassing after hostaging The Manager also doesn't make sense, because logically speaking, the Lead Manager should know that we're granted access and doesn't know we are committing a crime yet.

This is already an annoying stage design, but these game systems only exacerbate the issue:

1. The Skill Tree Mechanic

For the first 30 or so levels, changing skill trees are free. Then suddenly it isn't.

Just... Why...?

Oh my god do I HATE this system. I was trying to do No Disguise The Deposit, so I changed all of my skill trees to do just that, which led to me having no intimidation perks. And then when I got to The Withdrawal, I couldn't just hostage the aforementioned Lead Security the moment he enters the vault room. It's absolutely aggravating!!

I'd much rather have EP's core perk locked onto a freelancer than having to deal with all these money constraints. It's genuinely so annoying to deal with. An absolute horrid game design.

2. The Leveling Up System

I understand Cish is trying to encourage players to complete challenges, hence the current credibility system... But dear god, drop the money nonsense man...

I still remember the days where I could easily grind The Financier Legend and max out my characters with ease, but now all these daily missions and whatnot are actually just sad.

Really reminds me of the daily quests that gacha games integrate to keep players hooked to the game. It's just unnecessary man. Make money easy to obtain, man.

It's sad to see this too since the game is already paid, and it is genuinely a good game, but these little trivial problems are just so impactful to the enjoyment of the game that it's just so ridiculously frustrating.

Is this the supposed method to complete The Deposit without a disguise?

Cleared out the entire office section near this area. Found it a bit odd though 🤔

I could also theoretically complete the no first floor challenge with this, but alas I trespassed the first floor to try and get a network access in.

I cant play without crashing

For as long as Ive known the game, It will try and crash every 3 and a half minutes. Only when I started trying to do the deposit did it start doing this; the game will only crash after I start that mission. Cut scenes, menus, the tutorial are unaffected. I play solo, I dont know if that has an effect on anything. I remember playing with other people one time and it ran fine.

It is not a device issue. I can play other games fine. Id really like to play this game so if theres anything that I can do to fix it please let me know, thanks.
