I'm a big fan of the Chinese studio Mote Stop-Motion Animation (stop motion team of NiceBoat Animation), currently working on their first stop motion feature film (Sci-fi) due to release this year (a trailer should drop in the coming days). The studio is behind the 20mn long shorts Bridge (2020) and its 2 follow up (Slave & Vaisravana in 2024), all directed by Liu Di, the studio founder. They also produced Lantern Blade (2024), a 3 episodes mini series that looks more like a 73mn movie. All these shorts are in the wuxia genre, Lantern Blade being a mix of wuxia and cosmic horror. The video is a making of featurette of Lantern Blade. I wish we'll get all of these short in a BR some day, at least we should get on Youtube in the future as stated by the studio's X account. Right now they are behind a sub on Tencent Video and only in featured in festivals here in the West.
