Mensik vs Fonseca Prediction
People seem to be making Fonseca the favorite against Mensik after beating Djokovic and Ruud, but what exactly is the matchup advantage here?
Against Djokovic, I can see the argument that Fonseca had a physical edge and was able to outlast him. Against Ruud, it felt like a favorable matchup because Fonseca could attack Ruud’s backhand and take advantage of the higher balls to slam his FHs
But when it comes to Mensik, what is the actual tactical or technical advantage for Fonseca that makes people view him as the favorite?
Mensik has the serve and the backhand advantage, so I don’t know. If you include Fonseca’s poor returns, It definetly could be a lot harder matchup for him
Genuinely curious what you guys think. Obviously we can only make assumptions here, but I wanna hear it.
