Post bi salp surprise

I just saw on another sub about a tattoo that ended up crooked after a surgery and it reminded me of my surgery. So I thought I would share
I had my surgery last September. Everything went well and recovery went smoothly.
My dr went in through my right side and through my belly button. No biggie. She explained all this. Afterwards the incision sites were obviously covered and stitched up. She told me the stitches and glue would dissolve over time.
Cool nbd. The time finally comes where my belly button is free and I go to clean it, like I always do, with a q tip and rubbing alcohol.
HOLY CRAP the q tip went in waayyy further than it should have. I panicked and immediately thought that there's an open hole in my belly button. I try again and hit the end of my belly button. Immediate relief and I laugh it off.
I made sure to ask my Dr at my follow up and she goes "oh yea... there is a chance I made your belly button deeper."
Of course I told all my friends about this. No one but me thinks its funny. They all find it gross.
Did anyone else end up with deeper belly buttons?
