Do kids not get taught the 9 x “trick”?

Why 9 x 6 sums up our trouble with times tables
A study of nearly 250 million answers found clusters of mistakes for sixes, sevens, eights and nines, as Year 4 pupils prepare for a statutory test in June

Behind the paywall 9 x 6, 9 x 7 and 9 x 3 are in the most frequent incorrect answers. How is this possible?

If people don’t spot the 9 x 6 means the answer starts with 5 and the sum of the answer will equal 9, why isn’t it pointed out? Surely 9 is the easiest times table after 10, 5 and 2??

(Former AST)Asking as we’re planning to move from London to Norwich and the central Norwich rental market for 3 bed family flats or houses is pretty dead.

We could give notice in next few days, but I was thinking it might be better to wait until start of June and see if it’s picked up a bit. Was hoping for even a small bounce in availability as people give notice through May.

Am I deluded that stock will improve once the “crisis” of the switch to RRA is over? I know lots of LLs have sold but house sales aren’t great either - maybe some unsold will come back to rental?
