I have trading authority in my wife's TFSA and she had $200 cash sitting there not earning anything.
So I bought $200 worth of CAGE and didn't think anything of it.
Then tonight over dinner she says: "so I got an email that you bought 8 CAGE."
I said: "yes".
She said "ok" then went back to watching Celebrity Jeopardy.
I hope everyone finds a partner that is supportive of CAGE.
She disclosed that she did anal with another guy. She says I was her first and it was a special moment, but now I'm finding this out and I'm spiraling.
Anyone have advice?
So every investing sub in Canada currently has a hard-on for CAGE. An avantis all-equity asset allocation etf. Has been promoted hard by popular YouTuber Ben Felix as of late.
When reading posts about this ETF, there is always a disclaimer:
"It may underperform market-cap-weighted peers like XEQT/VEQT for extended periods because it differs from the broad index, offering potentially higher long-term returns at the cost of higher short-term tracking error and fees."
Why does this ETF get a free pass? If you said this about literally any ETF, Reddit will downvote the hell out of you. God forbid mentioning a covered call ETF which will get met with long term backtested charts.
Is it just a snobby Reddit thing?
