Tesira Forte programming question.
I’m fairly new to Tesira programming and I’m trying to figure out the best way to accomplish a routing setup.
I have 3 audio zones:
- Zone A
- Zone B
- Zone C
Requirements:
- An emergency broadcast line must always be present in all 3 zones with no interruption.
- A microphone must always be active in Zone A.
- The same microphone should be switchable into either Zone B or Zone C using push buttons connected through logic I/O.
My current idea is:
- Route the emergency system directly through the matrix mixer so it is always passing audio to all zones.
- Split the microphone into 3 separate signal paths.
- Route each mic path to a different zone input on the matrix mixer.
- Leave Zone A’s mic path always open.
- Put mute blocks on the Zone B and Zone C mic paths.
- Control those mute blocks using the logic I/O push buttons.
So essentially:
- Emergency audio = always live everywhere
- Mic = permanently live in Zone A
- Mic can be toggled into Zone B or C independently
Does this sound like the correct / cleanest approach in Tesira, or is there a better way to accomplish this?
