Settled Systems Radio Update. Now 24 Hours of Lore Friendly Music
Hey everyone,
Settled System Radio had been updated and now includes over 24 hours of lore friendly music. If you were around for the original release and have had time to listen, please let me know what you think! The playlists are still only on Spotify, but I do plan on adding them to Apple Music soon and to eventually mod them into the game itself.
Edit: I probably should have mentioned this in the post but the intended use is having the Spotify app playing in the background while you are playing. This can be done on Xbox, Play Station, and pc if you have the Spotify app installed.
Original post-
Over the last three years I've been working on something I though was missing from the base game, different radio stations to fit the themes of the various settlements and factions spread out across the Settled Systems. Introduction Settled Systems Radio. 5 lore friendly, handpicked (no AI used), distinctly different radio stations and 1 all in one station. These stations are designed to be listened to in order, or on random.
Settled Systems Radio All in One. A mix of classics, space age rock, futuristic alternative, electronic dream pop, electronic, western, classical, and ambient music
Constellation Radio. Old world nostalgia for a space faring future. My take on a traditional Fallout style radio station.
New Atlantis Radio. Space Age classic rock and beyond. Featuring plenty of Bowie and Pink Floyd.
Akila City Radio. Classic country western for a space faring future. My take on a Fallout New Vegas style radio station.
Neon Radio. Industrial electronic, alternative, dream pop, and a little space jazz inspired by Blade Runner, Cyberpunk, and Cowboy Bebop. This is probably what you were imagining when you saw the title.
Classical & Electronic Radio (No Vocals). Classical and electronic tracks that feel as lonely as the deep, cold void of space. Inspired by 2001: A Space Odyssey and Alien.
This last one is not my work, but I think it's worth a shout out for our new captains coming from Play Station. Starfield Radio.
If you have any feedback, comments, or suggestions, I would love to hear them
