I’ve been on this sub a number of years now and you get used to a regular flow of posts.

Each March-May and September-Oct it’s the same Canton fair posts we get every year where sourcing agents pop up.

In recent weeks there’s been an in-rush of tour guide posts, typically from young women. Some guys, though I recognize a few names as regulars.

Why the sudden influx? It is post graduation time from tour guide university? Lack of jobs in other areas? The increase in visa free access bringing more short visit foreigners to GZ?
