Something that really sticks out in this episode, to me, is the constant hugging. Tony hugs his cousin maybe no less than 10 times. He hugs Jack Mazzarone, Tony B’s mom, feech, and probably others. Can’t put my finger on it but I think it has something to do with foreshadowing death or the breakdown of relationships. For instance through out the episode we start to see tensions with Tony B, Mazarone, and Feech. The fallout with Adriana and Tina, etc. He throws the artwork out the window, puts the art up and takes it down. Do any of you mamalukes have an opinion on this? What is with all the hugging? Is it just me or does that play into a larger theme? It’s a great episode but it’s pretty dark if you think about all the bad blood.
