Did I ruin my atomizer? 12h ISO soak didn't remove this residue (Pic included)
I’m seeking some advice on my Dr. Dabber atomizer. As you can see in the attached photo, there is some stubborn gunk/black residue at the bottom that I just can’t get off after a heavy session.
What I’ve tried so far:
I soaked the whole thing in 99% Isopropyl Alcohol for about 12 hours.
I tried scrubbing it with a Q-tip after the soak, but the black spots won't budge.
My questions:
Is it "chazzed" beyond repair? Or is this just normal carbon buildup that requires a different approach?
Should I try Dark Crystal Clear? I’ve been lurking in this sub and noticed people recommend DCC way more often than ISO for these types of stains. Is it worth the effort/cost, or is the surface already damaged?
Replacement in Europe: If I do need a new one, does anyone know a reliable shop that ships to Germany/EU? Buying directly from the US is a nightmare with shipping costs and customs.
Thanks in advance for the help! :)
