Charging Protections disguised

Since nasa XOS 16 na tayo at ang bypass charging natin also trickle charges (slow charging speed), nag try ako maghanap ng ibang way to get that "Bypass charging" feature back, after some talks with Claude A.I. and ChatGPT these are the conditions I've found that makes me confident to say "Charging Protection" is also "Bypass Charging" hidden in disguise

Three Conditions That Confirm This is Bypass Charging:

  1. Discharges Only When Starting Apps or During Heavy Loads

Brief negative spikes (-392mA, -297mA) only during app launches or load transitions

Battery acts as backup for peak demands, not continuous power source

  1. Never Charges (Same Behavior as XOS 14 Bypass Charging, on my Note 30 5G)

Zero positive values - only shows 0.0W or negative

Identical to confirmed bypass charging on previous Infinix devices

  1. Stabilizes to 0.0W After a Few Seconds

Returns to ~0.0W within seconds after spikes

Battery stays at 80% for hours despite heavy use

I actually heard this from someone a few weeks before, that's what made me eager to find out if it's true or not.

Dual System

Try it out guys, nagana dito yung kapag ibang fingerprint pinang unlock mo ibang system magagamit mo! Available na to sa XOS 16 ng GT 30 Pro and possibly lots of other devices with XOS 16 too

"Just get the GT 50 Pro!"

I don't understand the hype for recommending that phone when the price increased by 50% with improvements at just around 10 or 20%, if you want a good performance centric phone with bypass charging and spend minimal amount of money, just get the GT 30 Pro, and if you don't need the "bypass charging" feature or them shoulder triggers then just get X8 Pro from Poco or any other phone because those two features are what I mainly use on my phone

if we're comparing gt 30 pro and gt 50 pro it's like Google Pixel 9a and Pixel 10a, not a lot of upgrades has happened on that year of increment but the price for 9a is lower, that's why it makes sense to just buy the lower model.

Disclaimer: For the Prices i used the Prices in Indo converted into peso because there's no official price for GT 50 pro in the Philippines

DAHIL KAY INFINIX GT 50 PRO NA MAY WIRELESS BYPASS CHARGING EH UNSTABLE ANG WIRELESS CHARGING EH, KAYA PARA MAGING STABLE FOR THEM, KAILANGAN NA MAHIGIRAN YUNG CHARGE PARA KAHIT NA BUMABA YUNG CHARGE SA WIRELESS CHARGER ABOT PARIN REQUIREMENTS

unfortunately, this confirms that the new bypass charging for every phone coming with xos 16 and that will be updated to xos16, will be trickle charging while also on bypass, it's a feature, not a bug.

Bypass Charging:

They turned it into a completely different feature. You can now use it on any app, even on the home screen, but it still charges at a stable 1.2W, even in games.

OS:

It looks smooth overall. The added animations are really cool and honestly better than XOS 15.

Background Usage:

The apps I run in the background are not working, for example AccuBattery, so I cannot tell if it uses more or less energy than the previous version.

AOD:

This is actually really cool and has lived up to its potential, unlike bypass charging. Come on Infinix, why does it still charge during heavy games? This feature lets me modify the clock length, its style, and how long it stays on the screen, either 5 seconds or indefinitely.

Customization:

You can have multiple custom profiles. For example, Profile 1 could look like this, Profile 2 could have a depth effect, and Profile 3 could use a blur effect.

Depth Effect:

I have not fully tried it yet. I did test it with my current wallpaper, and it messed a lot of things up.

Home Screen Adjustments:

After the update, the 6x7 home screen grid is no longer available, and if you try to use the full layout, it gets adjusted automatically.

Haptics:

Goddamn, it feels surreal. I have not noticed my phone vibrating this much before, and the haptics are great. They trigger with actions you make, like hitting the end of a list in the Settings app, adjusting brightness, or using the smart panel. It feels really well integrated.

Overall:

It is a solid 7 out of 10, I don't really have any problems with it looking IOS, because competitions like this make the whole experience a whole lot better, would've been solid 10/10. But come on, gaming with bypass charging is now worse, gahdamn.
