Hi! I recently picked up a secondhand, lightly used Beta LT for NZ$260 (US$150) which feels like a steal - so I’m naturally stoked, except for a very strong perfume smell clinging to the jacket which is enough to trigger my migraines.

I’ve washed it yesterday with Grangers Performance Wash which helped a bit, but coming back to the jacket overnight it’s definitely lingering.

Does anyone have any hacks to get this perfume scent out?

Thought I'd share my experience of the Outdoor Research Foray 3L jacket. I'd like to add that this seems to be uncommon, and I give full respect to OR's customer service, especially as someone based outside of the US.
 
I purchased the jacket new from a supplier about three weeks ago. On its first use in a very, very light shower, I noticed some raised bumps where raindrops hit and appeared to soak into the top layer. These bumps disappeared as the jacket dried, so I didn't think much of it.
 
Fast forward to today, and it got its first serious test in rain. At this point these bumps/bubbling became much more obvious. I took the attached photos and emailed Outdoor Research, querying whether that was normal. They responded within minutes (kudos), advising it was certainly not normal, and to take it to the supplier I purchased from for a refund or replacement.
 
I took it into the store and the staff were baffled, having never seen this before. They took lots of photos and had no issues arranging a replacement. Best guess is there is a manufacturing defect causing micro pockets of delamination. I'm waiting for the replacement to arrive and am hoping this doesn't happen again - if it does, I'll be requesting a refund and going with another brand, probably Patagonia.
 
I'm sharing this as when I first noticed these issues I hit Reddit to see if anyone else has experienced the same. I only found one similar post on the matter but am curious to hear if anyone else has experienced this before?
