Really looking for a durable supreme backpack, is this one worth it for $300?

I had locs and combed them out, since then been wearing braids, cornrows, etc , but the braids keep tugging on my hair in the back. I was trying to keep it braided so it would be “protected “, but it seems that’s doing more damage than help. How can I work on growing this back??
