Since the game will most likely have either a new engine, or a updated dimps engine i would suspect they will most likely shift a bit the gameplay. For all intends and purposes the transformations from dbxv tend to stick by having only stat increases, there was a change for the better with latter installments like beast and god but for the most part they are flat increases. Having said that I thought that they could Flash it out more.

The direct separation from them could increase build variety, as well as creating more identity. That could also hinder in the fact that your favorite form might not fit your playstyle perfectly. It probably have a middle ground, as for where it is I am not sure. How would you differentiate the forms while letting them reach broader builds?

Here, my take working on the idea we will have all the forms;

Ultra Instinct, is a form that rellies on counter and counter-hits, it has the auto dodge and itself has the counters, one heavy and one light, the light one can start combos, the heavy one is a good bit of damage from getting hit. Both of those spent either stamina or Ki. A general good stat increase.

Beast, is a form that has a mechanic of "burn" hoard too much ki? You "Burn" and get stunned, spend too much Ki too fast? Your burn and lose stamina. The increase for damage is reality shattering, but the cost for it matches.

Gold/Black Form, a transformation that gain stacks by utilizing certain attacks, like emperor death beam, death beam, death saucer and alikes. When you reach a certain amount you level up the bar, after a bit more you get the second and when it is full you reach the max, those levels increase your Ki blast damage tremendously and perhaps add Ki recovery too.

Full power ssj/Legendary ssj, is a form that increase a bar, damage is increased uniformly by a not so scary amount. When you cap out the bar you reach "Berzerker" status, when you do, all your moves are switched into broly likes and all you gain a lot of damage and a bit of health, all the strike moves became grabs and all Ki moves became eraser and gigantic variants. Having the stamina broken knock you out of berserk, and when not, reduces greatly the stack bar.

Orange Piccolo, became a tank, tied to Ki or stamina gain health recovery and damage reduction, Ki damage is increase significantly. (The form wasn't flashed out enough to get a good grasp on what it does)

Ultra Ego, it is a form that thrives in battle, it has a "fuel bar" taking damage increase the bar greatly, dealing damage increase it by a very smaller amount. When at 20% you gain a 10% increase for all damage types, and a 20% damage reduction. When at 60% you gain 30% damage increase for all damage types. When the cap is reached, gain 35%-40% damage increase tending higher to Ki blast, some moves get ego variants like: egotistical Galick ho, destructive Big Bang and Eraser Final Flash.

For forms tied to stamina like orange piccolo and berserk? A longer stamina broken stun. For ui? A debuff for ki regen. For beast? Perhaps a ki depleation and gain slowed. For golden and black? Increased damage taken. For ultra ego? A stamina reduction, perhaps even damage "withdrawal" that applies from what the damage reduction defended you from. Here is how being "knocked" out of a form could work

I didn't plan anything for both majin, human and any potential new race as I don't know those very well, I am yet to watch daima.
