Hi everyone!

I’ve been taking care of this guy for 5 months now, and I’m concerned about his fins health, they fins have been getting worse over time, he has some chunks missing. I’m attaching a "Before vs. After" photo so you can see how the fins have changed over time.

His behavior is pretty normal, maybe slightly less active but has a nice appetite

Parameters:
• Ammonia: 0 ppm.
• Nitrite: 0 ppm.
• Nitrate: 5 ppm.
• Temperature: 26°C (Stable).
• pH: 7.6
• 5 gallon tank

I thought he was hurting himself with a spiderwood, I removed it but nothing changed. I don’t know if maybe he has an infection
I don’t know what to do anymore :( Any advice on how to help him regrow his fins would be greatly appreciated!
