Freepik / Magnific AI just officially STOLE my money and credits. Support refused to fix their own system error!
I am absolutely furious right now.
On May 8th, I paid for their Premium monthly plan ($15) for my video projects. A few days later, due to a terrible UI design, I accidentally triggered a yearly upgrade that charged my card over $356.
I immediately contacted them to cancel that accidental yearly charge. They did refund the $356, BUT their trash system completely deleted my entire account in the process.
Instead of just rolling back the upgrade, they wiped everything. Right now:
- I have zero access to the premium stock downloads I already paid for.
- They took away between 20 to 30 generative video credits that belonged to me.
- My monthly plan was supposed to be active until June 8th, but they blocked me.
The worst part? I reached out to them to fix this mess, and they flat out refused to restore my access or my credits. They literally kept my $15, stole my video assets, and gave me zero solutions. This is straight-up theft.
Be careful with Magnific AI and Freepik. If you make a simple mistake on their platform, they will take your money, delete your active subscription, and leave you stranded.
I'm already disputing the $15 charge with my bank, but bloody hell, stay away from this company. They do not care about creators at all.
