Another phishing/scamming attempt (Read Body)
So I got this text message a few minutes ago saying I’ve got a challan. I knew that scam hi hai but I still went to the parivahan portal and double checked, just in case. There was nothing.
How I identified - The text message came from a private phone number and not from dedicated sender address.
Another red flag - The link which you see on this text is shady. No RTO portal has any domain with live/app.
I’m posting this just for awareness because not everyone will look for the anomalies before clicking on the link.
Also, I searched for this number on truecaller and it says Vivek Dhiman. I don’t know why Vivek bro is trying to scam people.
Also, I’ve added the spoiler tag because I swore at the scammer. Why you ask? Because that’s how I treat scammers.
Also, I’ve posted(in comments) the screenshot of the actual dedicated sender address when you get a challan from RTO.
