Incredible off grid home for sale - We built our beautiful house on the side of a mountain in New Mexico (14.5 acres remaining) as our "forever home," completed in 2013. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen health issues, we must move to a lower elevation. And we just dropped the price.

To the North and West there are no houses, and won't be due to slope building restrictions, and to the South is a arroyo that will prevent home construction unless someone is willing to spend an absurd amount of money for a bridge. The property is covered with undisturbed pinon pine/juniper forest with mule deer, birds, and all other manner of native wildlife. To top it off, there is a bench about 30 yards behind the house where you can sit, truly disconnect from the outside world, and be at one with nature.
Edgewood has all the essentials (grocery, Walmart, gas stations, pharmacy, veterinarians, Harbor Freight, feed stores, physicians, dentist, schools, etc.) and is less than 8 miles South on a nice paved road, Albuquerque is a 40 minute drive, and Santa Fe is about an hour.
