Is delaying 20 Strength on a Barbarian to level 12 worth GWM+PAM as opposed to 20 Strength at 8 with just GWM?

Trying to make up my mind between 2 routs on a level 3 to 20 Warforged World Tree Barbarian (across 2 campaigns).

1st rout starts off at 17/14/15/10/10/8 (the 10s are interchangeable but I build characters for mechanics AND roleplay--and I like the idea of a not-stupid Barbarian). At level 4 I bump Strength to 18 with Great Weapon Master & at level 8 I bump it up to 20 with an ASI. Levels 12, 16 & 19 climb my Constitution up to 20 with ASIs & the Epic Boon. Pros are that I max my Strength 4 levels sooner & only one of my mental stats suffer but the con is that I'm trading up a feat & my health is a LITTLE bit less for the first 9 levels.

2nd rout starts off at 17/14/16/8/10/8 (once again the 10 is interchangeable but I prioritize Wisdom in general). At level 4 I bump Strength to 18 with Great Weapon Master & then at level 8 I bump it to 19 at level 8 with Polearm Master. At level 12 I split an ASI between Strength (20) & Constitution (17) then max out Constitution with the ASI at 16 & Epic Boon at 19. Pros are that I get extra damage and action economy with my second feat & my health is a LITTLE better for 9 levels but the cons are that I have to wait a considerable amount of time longer before hitting max modifier for attack/damage rolls & several skills as well as making skills & saves for a mental stat lower than desired.

If you think that getting them in a different order or is a better idea or either feat is better off being replaced by a different one, please let me know.

I know that trading a feat for an ASI just to have a 10 in a mental stat doesn't seem worth it but as mentioned, I prioritize RP &skills that reflect them as much as I do combat min-maxing

World Tree Barbarian: Battleaxe/Shield + Shield Expert or Halberd + Great Weapon Master?

Starting off as a level 3 Astral Elf (otherwise 2024 rules) with stats at 17/14/15/10/10/8. I'm not sure if I want him to run axe & shield for higher AC (18 as opposed to 16 with armor alone) and Shield Expert at level 4 or run a Halberd for reach (which increases at level 10) & higher damage with Great Weapon Master at level 4. Unless, of coarse, you think I could do with a better feat to bump my Strength up to 18.

In the case of the former, Topple with a Battleaxe plus Shield Expert is extra opportunities to knock an enemy prone for advantage without relying on reckless attack which is even further boosted by my level 6 feature that can reduce their speed to 0, keeping them prone continuously.

In the case of the latter, the bonus damage & reach is always useful & the bonus damage from Rage & GWM apply to Cleave (or at least that's what my table has agreed to).

Rest of the way it's Strength & Constitution ASIs at 8, 12 & 16 to cap out Strength & Constitution to 20 before Primal Champion bumps them up to 24.

World Tree Barbarian Build: Shield Mastery GWM

Looking for public opinion on something regarding my level 3 Simic Hybrid (17/14/16/8/10/8, Manta Glide at 1, Carapace when I get to 5) World Tree Barbarian now that my current character is getting replaced. We NEEED a martial tank & I'm filling the role.

Idea 1 is running battleaxe (topple) with a shield & bumping Strength up to 18 at level 4 with the Shield Mastery feat.

Idea 2 is using a Greataxe (Cleave) & bumping Strength up to 18 at level 4 with the Great Weapon Master feat at 4

Better AC, boost to my already advantage dex saves & double chance to knock prone or reach with scaling PB damage

How Useful is 2024 Light Cleric In Curse Of Strahd?

Basically the title. I'm looking for public opinion (especially from CoS veterans) if Light Cleric is useful, given the sunlight themed spells now actually count as sunlight. Thing is: vampires obviously aren't the only monsters I'll face.

For my build I'm starting off a human (Tough feat) with the Sage background (Shield to keep my solar flare for allies, Firebolt for ranged attack rolls & True Strike for emergency CQC) & 8/14/15/10/17/8 for starting stats, ending at level 12 with 8/14/16/10/20/10 using the Inspiring Leader (Wisdom) & Resilience (Constitution) feats. The idea is softening blows by using temporary hp with my feat & level 3 features while mostly staying at range.

From what I've seen, they all stop scaling past level 70. If I do them in order then enemies will be wet tissue paper & all the loot I get will be worthless--just selling it for gold. Just finished the tutorial (Troll Shaman, level 14+ ATM) & starting the dragon quest after the island (on my way to meet Alexan-whatever-her-name-is). Was looking into how to do the older content & found out the scaling stops at level 70. Any way to circumvent this?

I have a Nemisis (Resident Evil 3) mini for both his flamethrower and rocket launcher fights & would like to use them both. Made a build where he uses Magic Initiate (origin feat for burning hands & fire bolt), Gauntlets of Ogre Strength (minimum 18 Strength) & the Artilerist Artificer (Eldritch Cannon for the flamethrower or rocket launcher) to fit the bill. Thing is: I'm CERTAIN there's another avenue I'm unaware of and I'm looking for public opinion on the matter.
