2001 seadoo gtx carburetor pulse line inlet broke

Hello everyone!

Lately has been quite the adventure as a new ski owner, but im pretty damn confident with tearing this whole thing down now! Long story short, a top end rebuild turned into splitting the case because of dropping needles in the bottom end (or so I thought). Split it open, nada, re assembled with all new parts and its just about ready to get back in the ski!!

But, I goofed and broke the inlet nipple for the pulse line on the mag carb. Best way to fix? Drill and tap to thread in a fitting? Cant be the first person, is there something available for this? Ive found maybe 1 used cover and its insanely priced. All help appreciated, thank you!

HELP! 2001 seadoo gtx, dropped wrist pins in bottom end

Exactly as the title says. After my last post I got the confidence to tackle the top end rebuild of my 2001 seadoo gtx that has 85 psi. Had pretty much everything pulled in about 3 hours, with just the piston heads left. Well, at no point in my research did I see about these nightmare needle bearings. I had towels wrapped around the cylinder, but im damn sure I dropped at least 1 in. Spent another 45 minutes getting the motor completely disconnected and out, and am now looking at this thing I feel like im completely in over my head. Is splitting the cases substantially more difficult?? Any tips? This had been a bad night to be a year into sobriety, any help is appreciated

To be quite frank, I made a poor decision and am in a predicament. Long story short my Fiance and I fell in love with Jetski's after renting one on a trip to havasu end of March and had been itching to get our own. Browsing Facebook one day I came across two 2001 Seadoo gtx's with "106" and "103" hours for 4k with a very nice double trailer and a ton of extras. Cosmeticslly appeared well maintained (well cared for paint), they fired right up and rev'd well, and without much more research pulled the trigger (i know...). Went to Havasu and one of em kept dying after hitting ~43mph which by end of the day would happen at ~30mph. Dirty carbs, no biggie. I've rebuilt dirt bike and small equipment carbs many times, think I can manage. The problem lies with the other... aside from being a bit hard to start the first time, it ran GREAT. 60-62 MPH, no dying except a couple random instances we paid no mind to, ran it hard 2 up all day... Once home figured I'll do a maintenance on everything. So i ordered 2 carb kits, all new plugs, plus ordered a compression tester for giggles so I have peace of mind. Ski that kept dying? 125/125 cold, not bad. The one that ran GREAT? 125/85... fuck. I've rebuilt many small carbs, and done lots of my own mechanic work, but have no idea how I feel about rebuilding a top end. Is this something I could reasonably pull off? Should I just cut my losses and get the one going and see if I can get like 3k back for the whole setup?? Any advice appreciated, in the meantime I'm cosmetically restoring them both to help the shame and sadness

Anyone have any idea how to get a replacement burr set for a Jura PAG3+ grinder? I purchased an open box Jura J8 twin that only had under 20 preps on it, but upon arrival I was immediately getting the WORST coffee ever from the left grinder, good in the right! Dis assembled the unit and found that either a ton of moisture got into the left grinder, or I was duped, we the burrs are horribly rusted looking and rough. Having issues finding replacements for the PAG3+ specifically, and am really hoping to get the left working just like the right. Any tips/advice welcome. Thank you!!
