As someone who usually eats alone, I enjoy restaurants where you order at the cash, grab your food, then bring it to a table yourself. No worries about tipping or waiting for someone to serve you.

Obviously every food court restaurant is like this, but do you have any favourites in Toronto (or North York) that aren't in a food court?
Any cuisine is fine, although I'm craving pad thai today so bonus points if you know a thai place. Thanks!
