Combat damage resolution question
Recent commander game.
I am currently at 2 life and my opponent is at 10. I have my opponents Spiteful Visions on my board, a 5/5 creature with double strike and an Enduring Curiosity enchantment version to draw cards on combat damage. First strike deal 5 damage, I draw a card and take a damage. Second hit I deal 5 damage, opponent hits 0, I draw a card and take a damage and am also at 0?
Would both my opponent and I be out of the game at the same time or would his owned card on my board disappear at the same time he hits 0 life?
I’ve read how combat damage itself does use the stack and neither does a player losing the game. But since I was the player that controlled the effect at the time of damage would the Spiteful Visions effect still remain after my opponent was out of the game?
