Looking for a matte highlighter that will actually function. Anything I seem to find is darker than my base skin tone, which speaks to my own melanin deficiency I suppose. The best shade I've found for my base is Mehron CreamBlend LT2, which is stage makeup. (Long story, I have other foundations around here but I think that one makes the best reference.) Would prefer budget/drugstore recommendations. Thank you in advance for your time!

EDIT: issue has been resolved.

Dell desktop computer, linux mint, first time user. For reasons I won't bore you with, I'm trying to install ubuntu restricted extras. I make an attempt to do so via terminal. Something... weird happens? The terminal now is completely covered by a graphic telling me to comply with the terms and conditions, and follow the law. Okay, sure. I expand the terminal. Seems like it's stopped downloading. I assume something has gone wrong, and kill the process.

This was not a good idea. I now have a lock on the file/process, and to be quite frank with you all I am scared that I am going to irrevocably damage something. I try to shut down, but it says there are still processes running and warns me against doing so. How do I safely resolve the issue?
