So disheartening…
I’m 33 years old with a low AMH (1.0 ng/mL) and this is our second cycle. First cycle (antagonist protocol with 300 Gonal-F and ganirelix) we retrieved 6 eggs, all mature, 4 fertilized by ICSI and only one made it to day 5 morula which was a fresh transfer. That actually stuck but we lost the pregnancy around 6 weeks.
Now, this cycle we decided to try agonist protocol, I started using synarel in my luteal phase last cycle and the baseline levels were great (E2<20 pg/ml and LH 1.87 mIU/mL). AFC was also good around 9-10.
Today is my 9th day of stims and my doctor only saw 3-4 follicles still growing today… 15 mm, 13 mm, and another 2 around 10-11 mm. I’m so so so sad, I asked if we may end up canceling but she said as long as we have more than one follicle, we keep going.
Is there any hope for this cycle at all? Did we oversuppress? I need success stories :(
